One-time check before you hire a CA

Money will flow through Chitragupt to the CA you hire. Indian regulators (RBI + Aadhaar Authority) require us to verify your identity before any paid CA engagement.

What you'll need

Your PAN card

We pre-filled the number you entered at sign-up. You'll confirm the name on the card matches.
Your Aadhaar number + phone with OTP

UIDAI sends a 6-digit OTP to the phone number registered with your Aadhaar.

Verification is instant. We don't store your Aadhaar number — only a one-way hash (UIDAI rule).

Your data is yours. Aadhaar number is hashed and discarded. PAN stays encrypted. Both go nowhere except UIDAI / NSDL for verification, per DPDP Act 2023 §6.
