A link that leaves the product is noted, not followed

Decision

When a captured page links outside the product's own address (LinkedIn, a mailto:, another site), the capture does not open it. It records the action as an outside link, and stores nothing about the page it points to.

Why

Set by the owner on 2026-10-18 while testing Walk it yourself. Following those links took the capture out of the product, and the other site is not something Babul designs.

Impact

• The schema has it as LinkAction.EXTERNAL; there is no table for outside pages.
• A Journey shows the action, ending at the edge of the product.
