A branch is seen in every section, as Complete or Delta

Decision

There is no branch page and no Branches list. Switching to a branch shows Journey, Pages, Components and Styles as the branch has them, with Complete · Delta beside the branch picker. The bar holds the branch's state (conflicts), Verify and Merge. Commits are the History tab; a conflict shows on the item it is on. New branch is a page of its own, opened from the branch menu.

Why

The owner, 2026-10-23: a branch is looked at the same way as main, through the same sections, and the separate commits page did not do that. Fewer screens, one way of looking.

Impact

• branch-verify-merge is rewritten. branches describes the screens.
• Branches leaves the rail. The branch menu lists branches and opens New branch and Versions.
• The app's branches and [ref]/branch routes go when the app is rebuilt.
