Summary

Every technique is in one of three states: solid, learning or todo.

Why it matters

The site tracks what its owner can do, not only what exists. Skills says a skill is solid when it can be produced from memory in a distracted kitchen.

Implications

• Solid is sage, learning is butter, todo is grey. The journey graphs carry the same three dots.
• One skill is solid: milk to paneer. Two are learning: milk to curd, and tempering.
• A journey card carries the state of the journey as a whole.
