SURFACE.WEB.PAIRINGS.PAIRINGS

Summary

What goes with an ingredient, what to avoid, and why: drawn for Tomato, with classic pairings and common mistakes below.

Why it is drawn this way

Converted, not redrawn. This is the prototype's own markup, with its nav bar, footer and icons written in on 2026-10-04. See converted-design-set.

Every pairing has a reason. Flavour chemistry, nutrient absorption, or a tradition that lasted because it worked. A pairing with no reason does not go on the page.

Only Tomato is drawn. The picker shows six ingredients and says 6 of 40; four of them link to #, and the picker does nothing.

Coral means avoid.
