SURFACE.WEB.AUTH.VERIFY-EMAIL

Summary

Verifies an email address from a link, on load.

Raw wireframe

  • .context/designs/web/auth/verify-email.html
  • .context/designs/web/auth/verify-email-loading.html
  • .context/designs/web/auth/verify-email-error.html

Why it is drawn this way

The base face is success. The page verifies as it mounts, so the visitor sees loading, then one of two outcomes. Success redirects to sign-in after 3 seconds.

The success line has a doubled full stop. The code prints {verifyMessage}. Redirecting… and the message already ends in "!". It is drawn as it ships: "Email verified successfully!. Redirecting to login...".

Resend needs the email in the URL. The button is rendered only when ?email= is present.

The error text is the server's. A bad token gives "Please provide a valid token."

Verification is not required to use the product. REQUIRE_EMAIL_VERIFICATION is off by default. See limits.
