SURFACE.WEB.PAGES-VIEW.PAGES-PANELS-HIDDEN

Summary

⌘. hides the rail, the panel and the inspector, as Figma's ⌘. and ⌘\ do; ⌘. again shows them.

Why it is drawn this way

The page takes the window. The top bar and the bottom toolbar stay, so View · Edit, the viewport and ⌘K are still a press away. Off a Mac, Ctrl+\ does the same, as Ctrl+. is the spacing.

It stays as it is while the person moves between Journey, Pages, Components and Styles: the editor's shell keeps it, not the screen. It is drawn once, on Pages; every editor screen hides the same three columns.
