SURFACE.WEB.PAGES-VIEW.PAGES-SPACING

Summary

⌃. (Ctrl+.) shows the spacing around what is under the pointer, as Figma does while ⌥ is held. Holding ⌥ shows it too, only while held.

Why it is drawn this way

The gaps to the nearest elements. A red box around what is under the pointer, and a line to the nearest element on each side that shares its row or column, with the gap in pixels. Where nothing is on a side, the line runs to the edge of what holds it. With an element selected, the lines are the gaps between it and what is under the pointer, or from one to the edges of the other when one holds the other.

Measured inside the frame, drawn over it. The board's script measures in the page, where the real boxes are; Trunk draws the lines over the frame, so nothing of Trunk's goes inside the captured page. It works on Pages and Components, in View and in Edit. Journey's frames are pictures and Styles has no page, so there is nothing to measure there.
