Why it is drawn this way

It is Preview with a panel under the toolbar. Sharing is something done to what is on screen, so the page stays in view.

A new link is shown once, with Copy beside it. Trunk keeps only a mark by which to recognise the link, not the link, so it cannot show it again. The panel says so in one line, where the link is.

Existing links are a list of who made each and when, because that is all that is known about them. Each can be closed, and a closed link stops working at once.

A link is for the product, not for one page. The visitor picks the page, as a member does.

Open leads to shared-preview, what the person given the link sees. Done goes back to preview.
