Equal, exact, percent and shares live in src/lib/split.ts, plus per-person checkboxes for who is in the split and several people paying one bill. Every mode ends at a uid -> minor units map that sums to the bill exactly.

• Exact and percent are the two that can fail to reconcile. Both fail visibly, naming the gap in money.
• addExpense REFUSES a split that does not add up rather than adjusting it.
• Adjustment (+₹50 for Arjun) is wireframe-only.
• Simplify debts is a toggle on the group screen. It needs netByPerson (the ABSOLUTE position of every member), not computeBalances (your own view), because routing a group's payments turns on Arjun owing Meera, a fact that never appears between you and each of them.
• Export is on Account, covers the whole ledger, and is free without limit.
