Why it is drawn this way

It is not a degraded group expense. It just has less to say: no split table, no lent/owed line, no payer. Rendering it as a group expense with empty slots would make a first-class thing look broken.

The two rows that replace the split table are the two things a solo expense can offer that a split one cannot — seeing where the month went, and turning it into something split.

"Just you" is a quiet label, never an empty avatar stack. A stack of one is a stack that failed.

A recurring rule names itself in the log. Automation does not get an exemption from a-record-is-never-erased.
