Everyone starts on the free month. It starts when the company is made, needs no card, and is given once per company and once per person, however many companies they make.

When the free month ends, the company becomes read-only and nothing is deleted. Billing then offers:

  • Move to Team — everything comes back, with AI, Verify and the full Analysis.
  • Keep it read-only — free, for as long as the company exists. Everyone can open every product, branch and version. Nothing can be edited, captured or saved.
  • Export everything — one zip: styles in a chosen format, icons as SVG, every page as HTML, and the version history.
  • Delete — everything is removed after 14 days. Until then it can be undone from Billing.

A failed payment keeps Team for 7 days past what was paid for. A cancelled plan runs to the end of what was paid for, then the company is read-only, with the same choices. Payment is taken at settings, from settings.

The free month shows Babul working; Team is the depth. The free month walks its product by hand (2026-10-19-walk-free-automatic-team), and gets every Analysis number, editing, branches, merge and tags, so a person sees Babul work on their own product. Team adds AI, the Analysis detail and its fixes, Verify, automatic capture and no limits.

There is no plan step in onboarding. Every company starts on the free month; Team is chosen from Billing. See onboarding-steps.

Billing is per client. One subscription, one card, one invoice, covering every product. A seat is anyone who can edit or merge. Viewing is free. Prices are in USD. No payment provider is chosen.

Enterprise is a contact link. Nothing in it is built for 1.0.0.

Not built yet, and so not on the pricing page: priority and dedicated support, and SSO, SCIM and the audit log.

Why these numbers

  • $15 and $19 sit at or under what a paid editor seat costs in the tool Babul replaces.
  • A small, capped AI allowance on the free month (25 image conversions, 10 AI edits, no card), so every way in works on day one. It adds at most about $0.50–2.50 per free company; the rest of a free company costs about $0.05–0.25 a month. When it runs out, the paywall offers Team. 2026-10-22-onboarding-three-steps-free-ai
  • Read-only is free for good because keeping a company costs about $0.003 a product a month in storage, and a company that can come back is worth more than that.
  • Delete waits 14 days so a mistake can be undone, and is short enough that nobody waits on it.
  • An AI action is estimated to cost $0.03 to $0.06: about 15,000 tokens in and 3,000 out on Claude Sonnet 5.5 at $2 and $10 per million tokens. 50 per seat costs at most about $3 of a $15 seat. The add-on at $0.10 covers its cost. Measure the real cost (T011) before billing is built; if it differs, change the allowance, not the seat price.
