Why it is drawn this way

It asks once, and says the consequence. "The computer wins. You cannot take this back." Resigning cannot be undone, so it is the one action in the game that confirms.

The safe choice is on the left and plain; the destructive one is red. Keep playing goes back to the menu.

The app has no resignation today. A lost game has to be played to mate or abandoned.
