Why it is drawn this way

The reason is spelled out. Stalemate is the rule new players do not know. "Black is not in check and has no legal move" is the whole rule in one line.

Neutral tone. Nobody won. No trophy, no red.

The current app shows "Stalemate" and nothing else.
