Decision

Canonical post-verification onboarding shape is Sign up → Verify → Onboard, where Onboard is three steps: (1) Consent, (2) Personal information (identity fields + Just-me / Family workspace pick), (3) Select plan and pay. Household name is optional.

Why

Old flow had a separate DPDP screen plus three onboarding steps that split identity capture (PAN/DOB/residential) from workspace choice. Drop-off was high at the surprise DPDP gate.

Impact

• Canonical shape is Sign up → Verify → Onboard: Step 1 Consent, Step 2 Personal information (merges identity fields with Just-me / Family workspace pick), Step 3 Select plan and pay.
• Household name is optional for the Family workspace; the createFamily callable defaults the label to <display_name>'s household.
• Wireframes + website code updated; mobile code defers to Phase 8.
• Affects onboarding-consent, tier-free, tier-self, tier-ai-self, tier-pro-family, copy-strings.
