V1 narrowed to Inbox + Tax; V2 = Mobile; V3 = Expense + Portfolio polish

Decision

V1 launches with Inbox + Tax as the only launch-gated pillars. V2 = Mobile. V3 = Expense + Portfolio polish (six schema-bound features deferred). Existing Expense + Portfolio routes remain reachable on V1 but are not promoted in launch comms.

Why

Tighter launch focus. The core value prop is Inbox parse → Tax review → CA handoff. Expense + Portfolio code is built and routes are reachable, but several wireframe gaps need schema extensions (portfolio-view-only family-member branch, CG-booked monthly timeline series on PortfolioReview, family AI advisor + cross-PAN harvest on getFamilyPortfolioOverview, per-suggestion confidence on categorizeLedgerEntry, per-category caps on SetExpenseBudgetInput, family per-member×category breakdown on getFamilyExpenseOverview). Better to defer that polish than to invent half of it for launch.

Impact

• Six schema-bound features deferred to V3. No work on them in V1.
• V1 launch gate (Phase 7 of ROADMAP) gates on Inbox + Tax SLAs only (parser < 4%, payment-recon < 24h overdue, grievance SLA met, Lighthouse a11y ≥ 95 on Tax + Inbox + auth surfaces). Expense / Portfolio surface metrics monitored but not launch-blocking.
• V2 (Mobile) takes the Phase 8 slot already on ROADMAP — no change to its scope.
• V3 = a dedicated post-mobile polish pass on Expense + Portfolio against their wireframes. Includes the 6 schema-bound items plus any wireframe-twin gaps the alignment agents flagged on 2026-06-01.
• Existing Expense + Portfolio routes remain reachable on V1 and continue to render whatever the current schemas produce — they're just not promoted in launch comms.
• Wireframe pricing fixes (₹199 → ₹249, Pro Family ₹499 → ₹799, etc.) still apply to all wireframes — static HTML edit, no scope cost.
• Affects pillar-inbox, pillar-tax, pillar-expense, pillar-portfolio, tier-pro-family (family overviews deferred).
