Chitragupt does not file returns

Choice: Permanently, not "post-V1": no ITR JSON or XML, no "file it yourself" flow, no flags reserving it. A Tax Review ends in a CA: Hire a CA (marketplace) or Invite a CA (your own). There is no separate handoff PDF; the CA reads the Tax Review directly. Never mention self-filing in copy, positive or negative.

Why: filing carries the highest legal exposure, a per-AY CBDT schema to track, and it would cannibalise the marketplace that makes money.

Rejected: self-filing in V1 (removed 2026-05-31) · self-filing for ITR-1 to ITR-4 (reintroduced 2026-07-25, dropped the next day) · a CA-handoff PDF export and /tax/ca-handoff page (three paths that all ended at a CA reading the numbers).
