Folder taxonomy

Superseded by identity-buckets — the 12-bucket model canonicalised by ADR 2026-07-11-user-identity-entry-model replaces this taxonomy. Depth is fixed 4 levels (Bucket → Identity → Year → Document), not 2. The renames (Bank → Banks, Investments, Insurance, Health, Assets, Employment → Employer, Liabilities → Loans, Property folded into Assets), plus new buckets (Retirement, Business), plus the Self identity being reserved (not a bucket) are all documented on the replacement page.

Summary

Historical. The canonical L1 / L2 folder tree that Inbox groups uploaded documents under. L1 is a fixed list; L2 is auto-derived per L1 by rule (e.g. Bank L2 = account). Documents that don't match any L1 rule land in Misc / Unclassified with an amber badge.
