Decision

v1 supports all property kinds — Apartment / Flat, Independent House, Builder Floor, Villa, Bungalow, Rowhouse, Studio, PG, Plot / Land, Farm / Agricultural, Commercial. Also all variants: rent, sell (new + resale), lease.

Why

Founder direction during design consolidation. The earlier "residential only, no PG, no land" restriction was inherited from the Tier-3 wedge (limited ops surface). With ops now scoped by reviewer capacity instead of geography, there's no reason to exclude a kind. Different kinds share the same verification playbook (photos, ownership proof, location) with minor variant-specific fields.

Impact

• CATALOG.md property-kind list widened; buyer filter gets a "Kind" facet.
• Reviewer must flag Commercial listings for heavier RERA scrutiny.
• Land/Farm listings use "Plot area (sqft)" instead of "Carpet area".

Status

Active. Supersedes: SPEC's earlier "Residential only (no commercial, no land, no PG in v1)" scope line.
