Why it is drawn this way

It is a gate, not a splash. index.tsx renders "Preparing your dashboard…" and redirects by sign-in state and role; nobody taps anything on it.

The five pills are a departure from the app. The real screen has no controls. They are drawn so the wireframe can be walked, one per redirect the gate performs, and their words are not app copy.

Every sign-in and onboarding step returns here. Screens call router.replace("/") and let the gate choose, which is why so many edges into this screen are returns.
