Why it is drawn this way

It replaces the whole page. app/page.tsx returns ScreenshotCropper alone while a screenshot stream exists in area mode. No menu, no banner.

Capture Selection appears only after a drag. The button renders when a selection box exists. The drawing shows a box so the button is there.

A tiny box captures everything. A selection under 10px either way saves the full frame instead.

Cancel returns to the Screenshot tab. The menu remembers its active tab, so the recorder comes back on Screenshot.

Not drawn: the wait. Before the stream has metadata the page shows only Loading preview....
