Why it is drawn this way

Select Area is the default. recording-menu-screenshot-tab.tsx starts on area.

Only Select Area reaches the cropper. Current Tab captures one frame of the shared tab and goes straight to the completed view (captureFullTabFrame in app/page.tsx). The Proceed link is drawn for the default option.

A screenshot is a recording. It goes through handleRecordingComplete with type SCREENSHOT, so it uploads, downloads and shares like a video.
