Why it is drawn this way

It opens beside the row, and flips left. recording-control-submenu.tsx places it to the right of the trigger, then to the left when that would leave the window. The menu sits at the right edge, so left is what you see.

Current Tab is the default. recording-preferences.store.ts starts with selectedScreen: "CURRENT_TAB".

Picking an option closes the submenu. Only the selected option is a link in the drawing, back to the recorder. The others change a preference that no file draws.

Camera and Microphone have the same submenu. They list devices with a dot instead of an icon. They are not drawn; the shape is identical.

Disable is an option, not only the toggle. The red row sets the input off, the same as the switch on the row.
