SURFACE.MOBILE.SETUP.CUSTOMSummary
The player's own pack. Free, and never leaves the phone.

Why it is drawn this way
This pack is FREE, and that is the whole argument. imposter.app ships custom
words free; Zinance puts AI-generated decks behind Premium. The complaint driving
the one-star reviews in this category is "the categories are locked" — giving
away the one pack the player writes themselves defuses that without touching the
seven we authored. Pro stays what is genuinely expensive to make: 749
hand-written hints. It is one constant, CUSTOM_WORDS_ARE_FREE, so flipping it
is one edit.
A hint is optional, and the empty state says what a good one looks like. The differentiator is that "Will Smith" gives "Slap", not "Actor". We cannot write hints for a player's inside jokes, but we can show the standard once and then get out of the way. Leave it blank and the imposter gets no hint for that word — which is honest, and exactly what every competitor does for all of theirs.
Three pairs minimum. Below that the pack cannot be selected and the CTA says why. A control that cannot be operated is a sentence, not a greyed-out button.
The footer counts words and hints separately, because here they differ. Same rule as the ten shipped packs: the UI reads the real count, so nothing anywhere advertises a number the app cannot back. See packs.
Add sits at the top and the newest word lands under it. Nobody opens this screen to admire it — they are mid-party with four people waiting, and the thing they most want to see is that what they just typed went in.
Every rejection is a sentence under the field. "Already in there" and "that hint is the word" are different mistakes, and the player can only fix the one they actually made. See add-word.
It never leaves the phone. No backend, no account, no sync — the same promise the rest of the app makes, and the reason this costs nothing to run.
Open question for review: one custom pack, or several named ones? One keeps the model flat and the packs grid at eleven tiles. Several is what a group with both "work in-jokes" and "family" would want. Drawn here as one.
