Why it is drawn this way

The one screen no competitor ships. Straight out of Imposter Who?'s reviews: "a button that lets people who have forgotten what they are re-check it would be very helpful — me and my friend are always forgetting what word we're on." The redesign deleted thirteen screens and kept this one, because it is the only one that answers a complaint nobody else has answered.

Gated the same way the first card is: pick your own name, then hold. The gate is the point — a re-check anyone can tap is a way to read someone else's word.

Peek counts live here and nowhere else. They used to surface on the round result too; with no scoring left there is nothing to weigh them against, and a tally on the answer screen would read as an accusation the app is not entitled to make.

Avatars are lucide, not emoji. This list exists to tell five people apart, which is precisely where a row of tofu boxes does the most damage — see players.
