SURFACE.MOBILE.GAME.COUNTDOWN

Summary

The 3 · 2 · 1 · ACTION! beat between Home and the first card.

Raw wireframe

Why it is drawn this way

It is an overlay on the game screen, not a route. CountdownOverlay renders absolute inset-0 over /game, so the board is already mounted behind it and the first card is ready the instant it clears.

It is skipped on resume. countdownDone starts true when the round already has results or a non-zero card index — counting a resumed player back in is three seconds of nothing.

The ground is white, not a full-bleed brand splash. The ring is what carries the beat: it scales and fades on a one-second repeat, which is the only moving part.

LIGHTS · CAMERA appears on the final beat only. It is drawn beside ACTION! and never beside a number — the wireframe shows that beat because it is the one with the most on it.

ACTION! holds for 3.2s against 1s per number. Long enough for the actor to look up and for the room to settle.
