CONCEPT.RESERVED-GOLDSummary
Gold marks a paid action, and nothing else may use it.
Why it matters
Every industry ships a free starter pack alongside seven paid ones, on the same grid, in the same shape. The only thing separating free content from paid at a glance is the colour. Spend gold on a neutral highlight anywhere else and the grid stops answering "what costs money?" — which is the one question the store screen exists to answer.
This is not visible in any single wireframe. Each screen looks fine alone; the rule is only violable across screens, which is why it is written here rather than left to the pixels.
Implications
- Pack CTAs, the bundle sell and the locked-pack badge are gold. Nothing else is.
- Navy is the brand — chrome, the app shell, the history hero — and never signals price.
- A promotional highlight that is not about money picks another token, or it teaches players that gold means "look here" rather than "this costs money".
