FLOW.KNOWLEDGE-TO-DOCTOR-REFERRALFlow — Knowledge to doctor referral
Summary
User asks a red-flag medical question in AI chat → app refuses → offers doctor-finder. Safety escape hatch.
Audience
any Partner
Entry
User types a question in surface-mobile-knowledge-ai-chat that matches a red-flag category (dosage, diagnosis, emergency).
Steps
| # | Step | Surface | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Message sent | surface-mobile-knowledge-ai-chat | User asks e.g. "How much paracetamol is safe in 2nd trimester?" |
| 2 | Safety filter | (Haiku 4.5) | Classifies as red-flag: dosage |
| 3 | Refusal | surface-mobile-knowledge-ai-chat-refusal | Warm refusal explaining why + doctor-finder CTA |
| 4 | Log to journal (optional) | surface-mobile-journal-list | "Save this to ask at your next appointment" |
| 5 | Doctor finder | (link-out) | Curated list of partnered OB-GYN + IVF clinics (see gtm-india). Link-out only; no in-app booking |
Exit
User has either (a) saved the question for next appointment, (b) clicked a doctor link, or (c) closed the refusal.
Escapes
- User rephrases and asks again → safety filter runs again; refusal is stateful, message escalates: "I still can't answer this. Let me help you find a doctor."
- Emergency phrasing ("bleeding a lot", "no fetal movement") → immediate escalation with red banner + Indian emergency number + closest OB-GYN.
