SURFACE.WEB.BRANCHES.BRANCH

Summary

One branch: what it changes, its checks, and Merge to main. Moment 4: the draft was just saved as kpi-empty-state.

Why it is drawn this way

It works like a pull request. Everything after Review happens here, so there is one place to finish a change.

The header names the branch and who made it ("Ritesh · from main v1.4 · just now"), says what it does, and holds the two actions: Open in editor (pages-view/pages-on-branch.html) and Merge to main. The bar's branch chip says kpi-empty-state; the draft is empty again, so there is no Review button.

Three checks under it, each an icon and a word: Synced with main, No conflicts, Verify. No numbers: the counts are on the tabs only — Changes 3 · Verify – · Conflicts 0. There is no "ready to merge" badge; the checks say it.

Verify has not run yet. The Verify check carries Run Verify, which opens branch-verify. On Team, Merge waits for a run, so it is greyed with "Verify first".

Changes shows main beside the branch for every change, drawn small.

Locked is someone who can edit, not merge, and does not own the branch: kpi-empty-state as Kabir (Can edit) sees it. The bar's avatar is K. Open in editor is greyed with "Only Ritesh edits this branch", and Merge with "Needs Can merge".
